We are the only ones who can create change in our lives. I use to be self-destructive, it was the only life I knew. I was born susceptible to the destruction of my own true happiness, as well as my families. I didn't know another way to survive. I was born into my darkness, I didn't know or understand what it meant to be loved or to love. The light that I experienced was on the outside of my existence. I grew up seeing the light that my entire family lived in. The love and happiness was close enough I was able to experience it, but not close enough for me to grasp it.
I was different from people in my family. I was the black sheep, I got left out ever since I could remember. Ever since I opened my eyes that first time there was something "wrong" with me. It took 21 years for me to finally be able to get out of that projection and to finally come to see the light. Today I can say that I am living in accordance with my own standards as well as with gods instead of my parents, grandparents, and then finally an abusive relationship with a narcissist.
We are the bearers of our destiny.
We do not have the power to help someone who does not want to be helped. Although maybe they don't want the help because they have not been given the wisdom behind the scenes. Everyone has a story, everyone has reasons for why they do the things they do. I can help come to the understanding of those reasons and that is the best hope we can have to change onto a path of happiness.

We are stronger than we seem, and tougher than you feel. Chin up my friends for this may just be the beginning of your adventure to bigger, brighter things. Death is not the end, only a beginning for something new. We are all here to learn in our own ways and we all do it in our own time. But don't prologue starting the process to learn and be better. We must work higher(with wisdom) not work harder, that is the way towards our happiness. Stop wasting time, and come join me I can lead you to see that your life does in fact have purpose.
